The Celegin Draken “F” was our first released model. It was made in a limited run of 100 numbered pieces as a “Founder’s limited edition” to raise funds for our start-up.

The Celegin Draken “F” started off as a bi-compax chronograph with a manual mechanic movement. This was in turn inspired by a classic pilot watch from the 1960’s, Heuer 1550, albeit with a modern approach to choice of materials and design. During the prototype evaluation, the selected movement was deemed unfit and we redesigned the watch to a time & date version with the high-end automatic Sellita SW220-1 movement.

The first Celegin Draken prototype. In addition to removing the chronograph function and adding the date; the airplane silhouette was changed from blue to black with the J35F-version.

It was well received in international and Swedish online watch media.
