Inspired by an icon

With a love for racing inspired watches, the Celegin Helgonet 38 takes a step away from the military and aviation themed watches we’ve made so far. Helgonet is Swedish for “the saint” which was the name of a British fictional spy TV-series from the 1960’s. In the series, Roger Moore, aka Simon Templar, famously drove a white Volvo P1800 making it a legend. Since our watch is inspired by the small sports car, we believe that the name is a delicate gesture towards the spirit of those times.

Dressy, classic and contemporary

Celegin Helgonet 38 is different in other respects too. It’s our first watch to be released in the convenient case size of 38mm (38.5mm across the bezel). It’s a versatile size for most wrists and makes a slimmer watch that can easily slide within the cuffs.

The stepped dial has two main areas; outer black and the inner light blue. Both parts are electroplated to give a nice sunburst effect. This, together with the applied numerals and indexes are a tribute to the original and notoriously illegible dashboard clock of the P1800.

The smaller 38.5mm design fits most average sized wrists.

The Celegin Helgonet 38 is powered by the Swiss automatic mechanical Sellita SW220 movement and is water proof to 10 ATM (100m). This means that you won’t need to worry should you find the need to take a swim with the watch. As for our other watches, a flat sapphire crystal with internal AR-coating makes this a top spec’d watch.
